March 26th, come to the PPMTV studio inside the Mall at Fox Run in Newington, NH, for Professional Storyteller Rivka as she puts the beat, the rhythm, the words, and the ideas together. Learn basic drumming (in about 10 minutes) and celebrate the universal truths in traditional and new stories. Rivka will bring drums, but she’ll also show you how to use your body. Join us.

Professional storyteller Rivka Willick has performed for corporate events, community celebrations, private parties, schools, and libraries for over 25 years. 10 years ago she attended a drum circle and got hooked. She learned skills to be a drum circle facilitator and combined story and rhythm. Her Story-Drum Circles are one of several unique programs she offers as a teller. Other programs include Haunted Bridal Showers, ‘LABOR DAZE’- a birth story show, ‘Fairytales from the French Court’, "Famous People You’ve Never Heard Of” and themed shows that mix traditional, historical, and original tales. She also leads workshops and works one-on-one with individuals and organizations to utilize stories for development, business,and fun. Rivka now lives on the Upper Delaware River in PA and has restored a 200 year old historical house which will open this spring as a TRADITIONAL B&B and CENTER FOR CREATIVE EXPLORATION.

If you enter from the North entrance (by Men's Warehouse), following the right hand side wall will bring you to the PPMTV Studio. It's across from FYE (a variety store). There is a children's playground between them.

Storyteller and podcaster Sebastian Lockwood tells the great epics:
Gilgamesh, Odysseus, Caesar,Beowulf and Monkey. His studies in Classics and Anthropology at Boston
University and Cambridge University in the UK laid the foundation for bringing these great tales into performance. Lockwood's performances are designed to take complex texts and make them accessible and exciting for audiences from 5 to 95. Lockwood has tutored and taught classes in higher education for 25 years. Lockwood launched two storytelling podcasts in 2022: Blowing Up Stumps- tales from New and Old England (with Maine storyteller Matt Gile), and Monkey- the Journey to the West. He now concentrates on performance, podcasting, workshops, and audiobook narration. Lockwood lives under Crotched Mountain in a 1792 house with his wife, jazz singer and LUX Lifestyle founder, Nanette Perrotte.

Seacoast Storytellers Presents is a monthly Spoken Word Open Mic with a featured performer. It is produced by the Seacoast Storytellers' Guild in partnership with the NH Storytelling Alliance and Portsmouth Public Media & Television. It is free and open to the public. We love having a studio audience and anyone can throw their name into the hat for the open mic portion of the show.
The event starts promptly at 6:30pm.

Witch, Jessica LaBrie, as she shares true tales of wild wisdom from the more-than-human kinfolk of N'Dakinna and beyond!Jessica LaBrie is a practicing green witch and Wise Woman, an old-fashioned job title that means she supports her community with the information, affirmation, and old-world skills we need to bring our modern lives back into balance: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
She specializes in nature therapy, trauma-informed holistic wellness counseling, herbal consultations, and spiritual guidance. She is the founder of Blackbird's Daughter Botanicals, and co-owner of Blackbird’s Daughter Botanicals Center for Sacred Gaian Studies, where folks from all over come to learn, heal, and joyfully reconnect with the wisdom and magic of the natural world.
